TRANSFORMATION
At SA Engineering, we strive for inclusivity, equal participation and equitable opportunities for all. The company completed a corporate restructuring process in 2016 whereby legal, ownership, operational and other aspects of SA Engineering were re-designed in order to facilitate its Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (“B-BBEE”) aspirations. Following this process, SA Engineering is proudly a BBBEE Level 1 contributor.
TRAINING AND SKILLS TRANSFER
Training is continuous and conducted both internally and externally.
Current training includes:
- Specific skills training such as boiler making, welding, etc.
- Quality assurance training
- Computer literacy training
In addition, we have partnered with the Manufacturing, Engineering and Related Services Sector and Training Authority (“merSETA”) by promoting employability and participation in the economy through the employment of learners registered with merSETA.
